There were a lot of rumors about Star Wars filming in secret in LA. Luckily, it’s not a “new” version of Phantom Menace but an update to the Star Wars Star Tours Experience at Disney. I am not sure how good the experience will be but, the posters are pretty cool. See more of them here.

If you need something to do this Saturday in LA, check out PaperShapers. Curated by Giant Robot, Papershapers is a group show featuring ten artists who work with paper-not “on paper.” The exhibition will feature works that are cut, torn, folded, and sewn into unique creations. Shin Tanaka will be making a rare U.S. appearance at the opening.
The opening reception takes place April 11, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the Scion Installation L.A. Space, 3521 Helms Ave. (at National), Culver City, CA 90232. The show will run until May 2. For more info click here.

Apparently her husband was in New Image Art the other day to see Cleon’s latest show, The Occupation. The painting above (sans Christina’s dome) would be a great addition to any collection that could provide the space to display it.
