Stereolizer is an internet radio app wrapped in the look of an 80′s stereo cassette deck. Might seem like a bit of a gimmick at first, but it’s neato simply because it records internet radio streams on the iPad and then lets you easily reorder tracks as you see fit.
TDK’s Life On Record boombox – solid, heavy, with three 6″ speakers (center is a subwoofer) and 30-pin iPhone/iPod connector. Also plays external USB flash/hard drives, all controlled via the knob and display on the front.
Everyday is an app that enables you through an adjustable grid to take almost the same pic of yourself every day so that you might one day compile an aging timelapse video of yourself á la Noah Kalina.
Embed.ly promises the ability to embed any media url from the web onto your website. They also claim, “When traversing the web, most site visitors will stay on a page 250% longer when there’s embedded media.” If it’s true or not it remains to be seen but, the ability to embed content from anywhere on the web is interesting.
Motorola’s Xoom will be available starting March 27th in a WiFi-only configuration. If you’re interested in this Android-flavored tablet, it means that you’ll be able to get your hands on one without bucking up for the 3G version.

Tiny Wings is one of those games that you download because it looks like it’s cute and could entertain you for a few minutes. Until you realize it’s insanely addictive and you’ve been playing for an hour straight, and also at every teensy opportune gap of free time in between other activities. It’s also controlled by just one finger tap, which means that while playing, you can snack and have chips, eat entire meals, or sit on the couch sipping a hot cocoa, or use it on the subway, or pretend you’re reading email. Not that I did any of this in the past 48 hours.
Google recently released a new Beta project that allows you to connect your printer through Chrome and print from anywhere. It is currently only available on Windows.
