In 2013, Barcelona-based artist duo Llobet & Pons created a series of work that involved engraving the tattoos of specific celebrities (Kate Moss, Johnny Depp, Melanie Griffith, and Mike Tyson) onto the steel surfaces of various cooking pots. The works were then placed on view at Fundació Tàpies in Barcelona for permanent contemplation.

When 26-year-old Torz Reynolds found out that her ex-boyfriend Chopper was not actually in Alaska—where he said he was going when the couple said tearful goodbyes at the airport—but instead living with a new woman, she decided to do what any sane young woman with a tattoo of their lover’s name on their arm would do. She cut “Chopper’s Bitch” out with a scalpel, tracked his address down online, and mailed him the skin. All in all, we’d say Chopper made out pretty well in the relationship.
