From the street to the sidewalk to the storefront, a corner of the Lower East Side was mobbed last night for the opening of Jay Miriam, Jeanette Hayes, and Jemima Kirke’s group show “Hearsay” at Half Gallery. Inside the gallery, the ladies presented new paintings that were strong enough to balance the beauty that surrounded them.

Last night in SoHo there were more people lined up for a party at the adidas store than there were for the iPhone 5. What brought the crowd out was Ben Solomon and Nick Atkins’ curated show HERE WE GO AGAIN: A Visual History of the Past 3 Decades of New York City, an exhibition featuring works by Clayton Patterson, Elsa Rensaa, Bijoux Altamirano, Arab Parrot, Moredechai Rubenstein and many other New York artists. The crowd moved to the Stretch Armstrong provided music, the party flowed into the night as Christos Katsiaouni captured it all digitally.

A pretty awesome crowd was out last Thursday night as Futura opened up Future Shock, a show of large scale works in a temporary space on Washington Street.

The event was presented by Andy Valmorbida, and sponsored by RVCA Artist Network Program, VistaJet, and Bombardier Aerospace.

The Bay Area came out in full force last night to celebrate the opening of Twist’s retrospective at the Berkeley Museum of Art. Colin M. Day was there taking photographs for TWBE.

The must-see show is on view until December 9th.

Last night at Powerhouse Arena, Vice threw a party to launch its second iteration of DOs & DON’Ts alongside hosts Cat Marnell, Fat Jew, and Jonathan Toubin. Christos Katsiaouni came through with the visual evidence.

This past Wednesday in Los Angeles, David Lynch both hosted, and directed a party to launch his limited edition collaboration with Dom Pérignon. The Kills played, Diplo dj’d, and the vibe was what you’d expect if you were attending a party by David Lynch.

NY’s creative community came out in full force to celebrate the opening of Portrait of a Generation, and Andréopolis at The Hole. Christos Katsiaouni was there to document the scene.

A mixed crowd of skaters and appreciators made it out to South Williamsburg last night to support the Andy Kessler Foundation. Christos Katsiaouni was there for the photography.

A sliver of the internet came together Monday night at the Webbys to celebrate excellence in the computer world. Vice threw the dinner and after party, where an enthusiastic crowd was entertained by the roving antics of Action Bronson, and the rock n’ roll selections of Q-tip. Christos Katsiaouni was on the scene for the photographic evidence.

What’s an exhibition without an opening party? Closing out our coverage of Tom Sachs’ massive  installation, Christos Katsiaouni was on hand to capture the party scene on opening night at the Park Avenue Armory.

Last night a lively crowd came out to celebrate the opening of Wherever you go, a new solo exhibition by Ari Marcopoulos at Marlborough Gallery. Christos Katsiaouni was there to document the scene.

Yesterday saw the opening party for a new exhibition by Karen Kilimnik at The Brant Foundation Art Study Center in Greenwich, CT. Containing installations, paintings, photographs and drawings from the years 1982 – 2012, the show did it’s best to keep revelers inside. Outside however, a fashionable crowd of art world luminaries celebrated by drinking champagne and feasting on lamb on the Foundation’s open green pastures.

Ryan McGinley fans came out in full force and packed the streets outside of both of Team Gallery‘s SoHo locations. The work was awesome, Atlas Sound played on the roof, and good times were had. Christos Katsiaouni was there to capture the scene.
