Holy freakin’ awesome, where has Peter Lloyd been all my life?  These airbrush works are simply amazing, even better that some of them were illustrations for Oui. All the works above are for sale at PictureBox Gallery

“Peter Lloyd is an Oregon-based artist who has illustrated record covers for the likes of Rod Stewart (Atlantic Crossing) and Jefferson Starship (Dragon Fly), contributed design work to films including Tron, and illustrations for publications including New York Magazine and Oui. are you semi-permanent?

semipermanent

Internet years are like dog years, each one is equal to at least 5. Anyway, we just got a heads up and some words of praise from Design is Kinky. I can remember when I first heard of them and saw their site and work, it feels like decades ago. They have this event called Semi-Permanent, it is actually pretty permanent. Semi-Permanent has been around for 6 years, with 17 events in 6 cities throughout 4 countries with 109 speakers…. etc etc you get the point.  If you have never heard  of Design is Kinky or this event check it out and if your close by,  go to the event. Here is a bit of info.

“Semi-Permanent is a design event. It consists of a conference and side events which include exhibitions, competitions, workshops and parties. It’s a week long celebration of all things design. Graphic Design, Film, Art, Illustration, Web Design, Photography, Visual Effects, Animation, Graffiti, Motion Graphics, Stop Motion; all these things and more. Semi-Permanent explores the diverse and exciting design world bringing together exceptionally talented artists and designers to speak at the event.”
