Yes, look closely. That’s a small 18 karat white gold panda riding a couple of jet engines. It’s based on the MB&F HM4 timepiece, and is designed by Huang Hankang. It will be available in the Only Watch charity auction, which will raise funds for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Check out the auction list – looks to be a pretty intense variety of watches.

This lucky gentleman received his Droid Incredible preordered phone a tad bit early (9 days to be exact – the release date is April 29). It’s the latest Google Android phone,  available on Verizon, and is looking like a pretty strong contender in the smartphone arms race: it’s got all the usual touchscreen, powerful processor tidbits, wifi, bluetooth, gps – but it’s also got an 8 megapixel camera sensor.

P.S. You get a gold star if you can make it past the 1-minute mark without muting the guy.

It’s here. The Apple iPad, a cross between an iPhone a giant iPod Touch and a very media-capable fun media browsing computer, all in a tablet form factor. It’s does everything a bunch of stuff you’d expect: solid web browsing, email via on screen keyboard, photo browsing, iTunes music playback and purchasing (movies, tv shows, podcasts, all apps, games etc), and scales up existing iPhone apps or runs them in small windows. 9.7 inch diagonal touchscreen, speaker, microphone, dock connector, wireless 802.11n wifi, bluetooth, fancy multi-finger gestures, pop-up onscreen keyboard – the whole enchilada.

Updated: pricing starts at $499 for 16gb of memory, then $599 for 32gb, and $699 for 64gb. Those three versions have wifi only (no 3g wireless service) and will be available around March 27, 2010.

If you want roaming with 3g service, add on $130 to each price level for theintegrated 3g hardware and wait until the end of April. Then add on another $30 per month (prepaid, no contract – turn it on and off as you please) for 3g service via AT&T. You also gain free access to their wifi hotspots (i.e. Starbucks etc.). Also  available is a lower data plan for $15 per month that limits you to 250 mb of transfer – but browsing, music and video streaming would kill that in a few days.

So it’s here for real, after all. Google aping the iPhone a bit hard in this case, but these days all smart phones are moving towards the same form factor in both hardware and software. The built in apps look solid and it obviously plays very nicely in their ecosystem. So now, Google is right there with you, in your pocket, with GPS, Search, Voice, Email, smarter and smarter AI. The future is unwritten, lets see how long it takes Skynet to become self-aware.

Tired of camera round ups and the like? Just skip them all and try this tough guy, then take it with you on the slopes without worrying one bit. At first glance I thought it was just kinda ugly and hyping up the ‘rugged’ thing. Giving it a harder look, I think I like it – obviously a tie-in to the Casio’s  G-Shock watch “endurance-minded features” without exactly aping the name.

I have been riding my bike a lot these days and am feeling that an upgrade is due. I know there is a trend toward the fixed gear but, this bicycle from Kronan is my new must have. Classic in every aspect of the word, it’s like a sherman tank.

Keep your eyes open for the Boxee internet video streaming device. I currently have this on my computer and have it hacked on my Apple TV. Works like a charm, pulling in almost every online streaming video service. This will be my cable killer for sure.

Each one is custom made but tend to have relatively similar specs. Charge your iPhone right in the wall, nicely leaning back from the outlet, with the DLO WallDock iPhone charger. Solution to a problem that didn’t really exist. DLO is short for “Digital Lifestyle Outfitters” which is made by Philips, so it’s likely a quality gadget.

Not sure about you but I’ve always got my phone charging in this one particular spot in the kitchen that looks exactly like the photo – which means my phone is on top of a coiled cable, sometimes on top of something else like a container or some papers to avoid getting hit by spills as it sits on the counter. I even had the screen smashed once when a glass fell out of the cabinet onto it. This looks like a winner.
