Marilyn Minter takes the cover of Time Out New York this week, the article about her career is interesting. Even more interesting, the model with the long tongue who posed for the shot.
After the jump.

So let’s say your girlfriends mom has been hearing all about this ‘Urban Art’ from publications like Time and whatnot. She knows your hip to it and she wants a piece of the action. What do you do? You buy her this print above by Blek Le Rat, fit for moms, soccer moms and whomever else stays in the confines of prudishness. It also comes in three other colorways.

If you are just learning about Shepard Fairey’s work and want to build a collection of it, your best bet is this auction on ebay. 20 prints, fairly rare, almost all of them worthwhile acquisitions. I have to say that I kind of enjoy imagining this type of block sale, it really feels like a commodity.
