This past Saturday The Hole presented six new works from legendary surfer and artist Herbie Fletcher. A casual mix of models, wave riding legends, and art lovers were in attendance at the opening, as was James Murphy and blast-from-MTV-past Jesse Camp who was overheard talking about Suge Knight’s favorite haunts in LA.
Wrecktangles is on view until February 28th.

Last night in the depths of MoMA, GZA, Adam Mansbach, José Parla, and Alan Ket were onstage discussing and exploring connections between graffiti and literature, and the hip-hop world. Afterwards, an invigorated crowd kept the conversation flowing to tunes from DJ J. Period and each took home a copy of Mansbach’s new book Rage Is Back.
Christos Katsiaouni was there for some pictures.
