   i thought your readers might like to know that these beautiful pictures are part of a which berenice abbott took of “changing new york” in the mid 1930′s; the entire (much larger) group is owned by the ny public library and in that collection they have captions which tell where each photo was taken. you can find a link to it as well as some biographical info about ms. abbot here:
