“My favorite place to eat is Taqueria Downtown in Jersey City,” says Nina, who was born in Chicago but now works in New York. “It’s good and reasonably priced authentic Mexican food, and it’s BYOB. The steak quesadillas are good, and I also love the ground beef tacos. The atmosphere is very laid back, and the decor is pretty cool (the inside is a collage of photos and stickers). I eat in occasionally, but I think I’ve ordered takeout almost every two weeks for the last three years… I’m a little addicted, and surprisingly, I’m not tired of it yet. I just ordered from there a few days ago. They recently opened a second location in Manhattan, but I have yet to check it out.”
