The premiere release from By The Sword, the “DIY or DIE” deck celebrates the creation and independence of the company. With an initial, limited-edition production run of only 125 pieces, the board features 7 ply Maple construction and silkscreened graphics. The “DIY or DIE” deck will be available for direct purchase at each stop of Mike Vallely’s Glory Bound Tour, Summer 2010.

I bought one of your skateboards and ive noticed that the boards are cheap and flimsy im not happy about it the wood is bad and the plys are just falling apart i wish i could get a refubd because they are so poor quality never gunna buy one off them again , what can i say $120 gone it was a waste of money and i dont get alot of money cause im 16 thanks for wasting my money

R you sure bro ? I was looking at getting one of these. I am a long long time sk8er and just really don’t think Mike V would put his name on a crappy product. Actually I know he would not make crappy stuff. I do not know him personally, but this is what I do know….I have been Sk8ing since I was 8 years old and that is 24 years I have hasd this crazy passion for it. I have followed Mike V for a very long time and if there is anyone down for 100% Skateboarding, Real Sk8ing, No sellouts, No gimmicks, No bullshit, Tell ya how it is, How it once was and how it should be. Is Mike Vallely. It is also said over and over how much of a straight up down to earth cool not to metion nice guy he is. So maybe you got a defect. There is no way Mike V would put out a crappy deck like the one you did or didn’t get. I am also thinking by the sounds of it the board got really wet!!!!!!! Any board from any company will fall apart if you get it soaking wet. It is wood. wood and water do not mix. Anyway I am sorry to hear about your board and hope you get it resolved. I hate to see any sk8er without a deck. Just know that there is no way Mike V put out a pece of crap like that.
