The bike shown looks very much like a typical Dutch bicycle, (it’s called an ‘omafiets’, or ‘Grandma Bike’). The design is said to originally stem from England in the end of the nineteenth century. The only difference seems to be that the omafiets always comes with a back-pedal break and the one on the picture has rim-brakes.
