the bike porter is finally going into production
Back in April, we showed you this great concept of bicycle handlebars with a built-in basket. Well, it has now been bamed Bike Porter and is due out in Spring 2010. Detail after the jump

This is a very clean design. However the clamping force of the stem will not be sufficient to safely support any weight. I’d also note that steerer tubes are not designed for this kind of loading addition to a rider.
CETMA and TCB are clean solid designs (and safe).
