The Kristin Baker show “Splitting Twilight” is coming to an end December 19th. Check out her paintings at Deitch Projects at their 18 Wooster Street location in NYC. There are some smaller pieces in the front of the gallery, but the giant ones are in the upper back section. Think raw, layered, accidental, landscapelike pieces that are quite large but avoid feeling heavy.

I took a lunchtime stroll down there – A nice brain cure after a failed attempt at curing some super late night insomnia (“Apocalypse Now”… this will put me to sleep… not) – just kicked back and took these in.
