do the right thing, turns 20

Do The Right Thing turns 20, it also means Public Enemy’s Fight The Power, is also 20 years old. The film and the song brought attention to the racial divide that in America.  If you never seen the film please do, it’s Spike Lee’s masterpiece, and it still holds up and asks the same powerful question.

Spike Lee and the movie’s cast — Danny Aiello, Joie Lee and Rosie Perez — as well as Common, DMC, Branford Marsalis, Gloria Reuben and others will be on hand Monday night at the DGA Theater in Manhattan for a special screening of the movie. Via
