At Aiko’s current show at Joshua Liner Gallery, she created the Tokyo Cityscape out of one-of-a-kind empty spraycans and paint buckets. Word comes from the gallery that these are indeed for sale individually. Priced at $120 for the spraycans and $200 for individual buckets ($500 for a three stack), this is one way to buy affordable, original artwork. Above are some examples. Best Month Ever
We wrapped up April and took a look at our Analytics and came upon a nice surprise. Our best month of traffic in the history of The World’s Best Ever. We would like to thank all of our readers, Old and New (apparently you’re not the only one who reads this!), for continued support and kind words. We would be just another WordPress blog if it wasn’t for you all. Well, if you have never heard of GG Allin, then you missed out on a legend. He makes Sid Vicious look like a catholic school girl. I remember the first/only time I saw him play (I guess he played) and…. well let’s just say the show was stopped. It involved shitting himself on stage shoving a mic up his ass and threatening to kill himself. GG is long gone now but, he was a NYC punk rock Icon.
