No Doritos here. U*tique will dispense gadgets, skincare and hair-care items and high-end make-up. Created by Mara Segal(no relation to Steven) a former consultant to a multitude of Luxury brands. They plan to role out the machines in Luxury Boutique hotels, but it will debut in Los Angeles’ Studio, a specialty boutique in Fred Segal. I think if they sold beer and pretzels, I would buy them everyday just to use the machine! The machine will stay true to its roots and sell candy—not any ordinary candy—we’re talking designer candy from Dylan’s Candy.
