Banksy Reacts To Wall Street
Blood on the hands, a suitcase stuffed with money, and a message “Let Them Eat Crack”. Banksy‘s latest rat was completed this morning and the words couldn’t have been any clearer for a city that has been so concerned with ‘me’ first. Wall Street never cared about you and they never will. Nice job Mr. Banksy.
A sight not to be missed.

I’m sorry I don’t understand the implication, is the “crack” some kind of financial jargon, or a buttox crack, or crack cocaine ? I’ve never heard anyone ever say “eat crack” referring to buttox crack, forgive my ignorance

i say it could be a reference to a changed saying done by french queen
antoinette, who said as the ministers warned the royals “people dont have bread to eat”.. they shall eat cake instead then.
so this could be a statement from bankers as cities have plenty of crack what people should do suffering from hunger, not having bread. or this hould be understood as (banksys) revenge on bankers to make them crack addicts…
