“The iconic BMW M1 celebrated its 30th birthday last month and to mark this special occasion, the German car maker has reinterpreted this mid-engined classic with ultra modern styling cues.

The M1 concept – known as M1 Hommage – was unveiled at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa D’este over the weekend alongside the Maserati Quattroporte Bellagio Fastback and Bugatti Veyron Fbg Hermès and it proved to be the stand-out at the event. Blending retro and modern styling cues, the reincarnation of the M1 is aggressive as ever with its wide-body stance and profile.”
