It’s amazing what passes you by when you don’t pay attention to the internet incessantly. I think if this project was to be labeled, it would be something like urban interactive art. Anyway, the premise behind Artist Melanie Coles Where On Earth Is Waldo graduate project is quite simple. A large figure of Waldo was painted and cut-out on paper, it was then wheatpasted to a roof in Vancouver, Canada. Here is the fun part. Using Google Earth, people were then challenged to find Waldo whereabouts. Simple and effective. She got an A, by the way.
