this is reactionary and trite at best. what is fowler even saying about these band names that haven’t been said before? im sure if fowler were friends of these bands he wouldnt have made it a point to make it an issue. this is censorship and conservatism, no ifs ands or buts about it. Punk rock is supposed to make people uncomfortable.Fowler makes music thats ok for Moms to listen to and by that he shouldn’t be subjecting the rest of us to ‘how things are supposed to be.’ Does fowler like joy division? does he find that band offensive. Find a new schtick, Fowler. You’re killing youth culture with your sickening, self-righteous condescending tirades. not to mention elitist.

ps. by the way, this art is coming from someone that closely aligns himself with A-Ron aka the downtown don who on numerous occasions not only engages in misongynstic behavior but propagates the idea of consumerism disguised as youth culture rebellion.

Thank GOD some young artists are tackling the serious issues that are plaguing contemporary society . Too many artists are interested only in creating decoration or beauty, and not making the world a better place.

As far as I’m concerned, Activism = ART.

This morally negligent music is a terrible influence on impressionable teens who wish to fit in by rebelling. It’s about time a fellow punk musician takes a stand.
