Roy Scheider, gave us lines such as..."We're gonna need a bigger boat..." and " If I die, I'm sorry for all the bad things I did to you. And if I live, I'm sorry for all the bad things I'm gonna do to you. ..."-All That Jazz, died last night. He may only have trully been known for his Jaws days, but he has had a long career.
Does anyone remember "Blue Thunder".

In the Blue Thunder trailer, when the car sort of jumps over/around the cop car sideways, that's film-making magic!

just last week i was in long beach, ca and i was reminded of the days that i worked at st. mary medical center in the downtown area of lbc.
for days i would drive to work and see a small building getting built, then one day i drove by to see a plane crashed into the building. i later learned it was a scene from Blue Thunder....
