Architects Penoyre & Prasad designed this installation for the Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Using aluminum louvers and LED technology,the building is illuminated on the south side. The LED lighting illuminates the façade by casting light on the underneath of the freely-placed, folded aluminium louvers, which the designers have nicknamed “seagulls”. Via Interactive Architecture.
