2007 sees the 50th anniversary of the most ubiquitous sans-serif typeface on the planet (with the possible exception of Arial). Helvetica has been honored in the form of a feature length documentary and an exhibition at MoMA in New York. Now, Blanka and Candy Collective have curated an exhibition at the Design Museum in London which features one imagemaker for each year of the typeface's existence. Our eyes are on the NB Studio's print above, championing Apple's integration of Helvetica as a system font on every machine they've made since 1985. A chance to peruse (and purchase) the other offerings can be found here.
