The prices were cheap, as low as the equivalent of two loaves of bread or a portion of wine. The frescoes, above each doorway, portrayed a variety of positions. It is unclear weather these were advertisements for the services or ancient Playboys used to stimulate the visitors. So on your next visit to Pompeii, sight seeing can be fun.
